Zell am See is the capital of the Zell am See district in the state of
Salzburg. It is the second largest city in the Pinzgau with population
of about 10 thousand.
Zell am See is a tourist destination and a transportation hub for the
region. It islocated on the shore of the Zeller See (Lake Zell),
under a backdrop of mountains. The lake Zell has a shape of a peanut,
with 68 m deep of clear water and occupies an area of estimated 4.7
square km.
The town now is
one of the most fascinating tourist attraction in the Middle Pinzgau
where crowned with visitors in every season.
